Enrollment Process & Application

Enrollment

The Montessori learning environment is very different than today’s rigid classroom structure and the results can be seen in our students. To truly experience the feel of our unique educational methodology as well as the spirit of our unique community, parents are required to tour our school before proceeding and then prospective students will experience the Montessori classroom first-hand through a visit day. This allows both students and their parents to garner a connection to the Montessori way that has given millions worldwide an empowered and enthusiastic yearning for knowledge.

Should you and your student embrace The Montessori Academy, the next step prior to enrollment is an interview with the parents and the Head of School. This interview will convey both what is expected from the families to support this journey at school and home as well as the goals of MAC in inspiring your young learner.

Admission Notification & Waitlist

4

After all required steps have been completed, parents will receive written notification of their application status.

We have rolling admissions throughout the year, which means that families may apply at any time. However, current families are given enrollment priority during the annual re-enrollment period in January. Any seats remaining after the re-enrollment period will be offered to newly-admitted students.

If at the time of registration the program you are requesting is full, you will have the option to apply for our waitlist. To become eligible for our waitlist, you must complete the admissions process (including submitting a paid application, completing the student visit, and parent interview and receive notice of acceptance). If a place becomes available, the families on our waitlist will be offered a place at our school in the order that  their paid application was received. Students remaining on our waitlist at the end of the school year will receive preferential enrollment treatment for the following school year.
