People who know and guide your child

Teachers bring lessons to life, notice progress, and help students work through difficulty. Assistants, specialists, and office staff contribute to that same care in different ways. Together, they help make the school a place where children can ask questions, try again, and take responsibility for their work.

Families who take part

A strong relationship between home and school helps adults understand and support a child. Families also enrich school life by sharing their time, interests, and experience—leading clubs, supporting events, and helping create opportunities for students to learn together.

A campus connected to Celebration

Our home at 901 Begonia Road places the school within the life of Celebration. The campus, surrounding neighborhood, and nearby parks give children a setting in which to learn about belonging to a wider community and caring for the places they share.

Our Story

Rooted in a community’s hopes for its children.

The school’s beginnings reach back to 1997, when Celebration parents began working with the Orlando Montessori Teacher Education Institute to establish a Montessori option for their children. The first summer session opened in June 1999 with two classrooms for young children.

Lower Elementary followed in 2001. In 2004, the school moved to its current campus, creating room for Children’s House and both elementary levels. In 2019, it became The Montessori Academy of Celebration, renovated its campus, and added the adolescent program.

That history reflects an enduring commitment to making room for children to keep learning here. Today, Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse, O’Keeffe, and Dali give that commitment a home, from pre-K through twelfth grade.
